Mission Statement

CaldwellCounty Department of Social Services has a two-fold mission:1) to help families and individuals optimize theirself-sufficiency: and 2) to protect vulnerable populationsfrom abuse, neglect, and exploitation. Families andindividuals who are able to take care of their own needs:financial, social, and emotional strengthen the community.Also, the protection of vulnerable populations such aschildren, the elderly, and the disabled, assures a healthierfuture. The roles and tasks of employees of the Departmentare all designed to contribute to these ends.
