The overall purpose of the Wired4Success project is to introduce technological tools to unemployed and underemployed members of our community in a job training environment. This program will give participants the necessary skills to be competitive in today and tomorrows job marketplace, will provide community employers with better-trained employees, and will offer local job placement agencies an effective training program for their clients. It is the hope of the grant writers and partners that this exposure to technology will not only facilitate more profound learning and ultimately produce better trained and more competitive employees; but that it will also open up a world that will allow participants to be successful in life.
