It is part of NPower's mission to offer a wide range of low cost training opportunities. | | Announcement- Verizon Foundation eTraining Grants The Verizon Foundation has reported that due to an unexpected demand for eTraining grants, all funds for the remainder of 2003 have been depleted and the offer is no longer valid. However, this program that provides free training classes is expected to be offered again in 2004. We will send out more information once it is received. In the meantime, don't forget that as a member of NPower, your organization may take advantage of desktop training through one of our two training partners for just $50 per day (New Horizons) or $75 per day (ExecuTrain). | | NPower provides comprehensive and accessible technology training to its Non-Profit members through two distinct programs: Desktop and Technical Training Technology training providers help us bring desktop, technical, and business systems training to Non-Profit members. It is geared toward Non-Profit Leaders and is the focus of NPower's own curricular development. Technology 101 was our first offered course and was well received by the members who participated. Our goal for 2003 is to expand our offerings and begin the task of moving organizations to greater mission focus through the use of technology skills and tools. | | NPower Has a Training Lab! Thanks to the generous support of CICF and several others, NPower Indiana now has a fully equipped computer training room in the English Foundation Building. Our two for-profit training partners, New Horizons and ExecuTrain, offer six classes a month on various desktop subjects.
The lab is available for rental for just your organization's training needs. So, if you want to gather up to 16 individuals around computers and provide training, our lab is an easy and inexpensive option.
