"I have been scrapbooking about 7-8 years, but I took about a 5-year
hiatus in the middle. I started doing Creative Memories when I lived
in California and a friend was a consultant. She had weekly scraps at her
house. Then I moved and got away from it. Then I had a kid and had
less time (I work full time). In the 5 years, I always looked for
stuff to use and would pick up little things here and there. I had
wanted to get started again and then found out a Bible study friend was
a CMC and I didn't even know it.

"When I got back involved again --WOW, was I amazed! There is so much
stuff now: Web sites, magazines, die cuts, stencils, punches, circle
cutters, etc. I was so amazed even at the idea of using a die cut
instead of having to cut something with a stencil or trace a picture
from a book!

"I have three albums going now -- family, my son's and my 4-month-old
daughter's. Not much is really done. My son's is up to date from
Thanksgiving to Easter, but there is a 2+-year gap before that. My
daughter's is hardly started. I don't get much time to work on them
with two kids, a husband in school who works late a lot and working full
time outside the house."
