| | | | | | The Many Facets of our Ministry... | One of 19 health ministries operated by Adventist Community Services in North America, the Ministry of E-Van-gelism also operates under the umbrella of the Greater New York Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. In this unique position, we operate as the conference's community service, and health & temperance departments headquarters. Our ministry has a three-fold outreach. First, to those in need through our community service projects, and van work. Second, to those who have been affected by disasters, and to the rescue workers themselves. Lastly, we also play a big role in educating and mobilize the members of the GNYC's 123 local Seventh-day Adventist churches. On the right are short descriptions of several of the facets of our ministry.

This example motivates every Seventh-day Adventist to go far out of his/her way to reach the precious souls that long for care, healing, and faith. We are called to exemplify the awesome character of Christ whose influence so radically changed the world two thousand years ago, and feed, clothe, care for, and preach to our neighbor.
