Arrival in Milan, the trendsetting, bustling, shopping capital of Italy!Transfer on your own to your centrally located hotel. The remainder of the dayis for relaxation.

Milan is a truly charming metropolis including delights to please all tastes.Highlights of your morning tour are the extravagantly pinnacled Duomo, La Scala,one of the world's most famous opera houses, Santa Maia delle Grazie to view thefamous mural of the Last Supper by Leonardo de Vinci and the 15th century SforzaCastle. Pick up your car this afternoon and drive the short distance to Stresaon Lake Maggiore, your home for the next two nights. (B) Day 3 Lake Maggiore
A day at leisure to explore on your own. We recommend a visit to Isola deiPescatori (Fisherman's Island) located in Lake Maggiore. An enchanting littleisland with twisting, narrow streets and colorful fishermen's cottages is easilyaccessible by ferry from Stresa. (B)
Day 4 Lake Maggiore/Lugano (Switzerland)/Lake Como
From Stresa, enjoy an exhilarating excursion to Lugano, Switzerland, situated onpicturesque Lake Lugano and sandwiched between the peaks of Mount Bre and MountSan Salvatore. Take some leisure time here to explore Lugano's pedestrian zoneand piazzas lined with outdoor cafes and boutiques. Continue to Como, set in anidyllic landscape of mountains and rugged hillsides. (B)

Depart Como for the charming town of Bellagio where you can meander through thevillage, absorbing all of its charm. When you have had enough, continue yourdrive to Verona, the town immortalized by "Romeo and Juliet". (B)

Depart Verona to Venice. Here everything floats! Drop your car off and make yourway to the hotel. Your afternoon sightseeing tour departs from St. Mark's Squareto a nearby glass factory to view a Venetian glass blowing demonstration.Continue by foot and by gondola to the remarkable Scala Contarini del Bovolo, aGothic Palace of the Middle Ages and a Byzantine Palace.
