| | 100 Years... | The Ministry of E-Van-gelism congratulates the Greater New York Conference on 100 years of service to the people of New York City. We have been working the streets of New York City under the umbrella of the Greater New York Conference Community Service Department for over 27 years. Through this unique ministry, literally millions of lives and hearts have been touched by the precious message of the love of Christ in the Metropolitan Area. Peace has come to shattered lives, hope to impoverished families, faith to lost souls. It remains our hope and prayer, to see that this conference will enjoy few anniversaries to come upon this earth. Greater New York, let’s go home...

By God's grace and unfailing providence, the Ministry of E-Van-gelism (GNYC's Community Service Dept.) received and distrubuted over 200,000 pieces of clothing donated to us from the Red Cross. Every day for nearly a month, an 18 Wheeler truck full of clothing was delivered to the Van Center. We would unload the truck, and ask church members from around the area to rent trucks to transport the clothing back to their church. One congregation was able to go door to door offering clothing to those in need. They also gave shirts to the policeman in their local precinct. A number of Community Service leaders told me how appreciative many people were. | | |
