Chris Falson is making a habit of playing in football stadiums. For most people who joined UK worship leader Noel Richards at Wembley Stadium in June 1997, performing there might be a once in a life time experience. In fact, as part of the Maranatha Promise Keepers Band Chris has already performed and lead worship in front of 2,000,000 men in stadiums across North America and will help lead the worship in several other similar events this year.
Chris has also been working with Maranatha! Music as a producer, songwriter and artist, helping put together a new series of Praise Albums and worship events that have included World Youth Day and Easter In The Meadows. Chris' band The Amazing Stories feature musicians and singers who are in Chris's words More famous than I'll ever be. Actually he had one complaint, Someone is usually missing from one of our concerts for the lame excuse of recording or touring with the likes of Andre Crouch, Steve Green, Hootie and the Blow Fish, Chaka Khan, Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, or The Lion King soundtrack. I don't know how I put up with it!
Seriously, he is aware of how special his situation is. Since arriving in the States I have been spoiled with a rich quality of musicianship. I continually work with musicians, singers and engineers I used to read about on album covers. | |
