The receptionist soon invites the person to enter into the office, where a blood pressure technician is ready. After taking a reading (or two), he/she explains what the numbers mean. If the pressure is rather high, they are advised to go to their doctor in the very near future. The technician also looks over the person's application and points out possible hypertension-risk areas. Any helpful health booklets or inspirational booklets are also made available on a nearby table. Some of these include, "You Can Stop Smoking", etc...
We advocate the simple exercise of walking and to drink at least 8 glasses of water daily will improve your health, both physically and emotionally. We advise moderation and believe in exercising self-control in the indulgence of appetite and abstinence from alcohol.
