Which nonprofits qualify for this program?

• Nonprofits with operating budgets of $250,000 or less.

• Priority will be given to nonprofits with budgets under $50,000 and NPower members.

What types of projects qualify for the volunteer matching project?

• Basic Website Development

• Website Enhancement or Alteration

• Desktop Coaching

• Security Education

• Small Database Projects

• Other projects to be determined on a case-by-case basis

How much time should a volunteer expect to spend on a project?

Volunteers will spend up to 20 hours per nonprofit project, unless additional hours are agreed upon by both the nonprofit and volunteer.

Most projects should be completed within 8 weeks.

How does the volunteer matching process work?

1. Nonprofit organizations submit their project requests to NPower Indiana via NPower's website.

2. NPower reviews the request to determine if it fits in the guidelines of the matching program.

3. Coimbra cheap hotelsNPower posts projects on its website and requests interested volunteers to respond via website.

4. Volunteers interested in pursuing a particular project will fill out an information sheet and submit it to NPower via NPower's website.

5. If the volunteer's skill set appears to match the needs of the nonprofit, NPower will contact the volunteer and help coordinate a meeting between the volunteer and the nonprofit's staff representative of the project to decide if the project will be a good match with the volunteer.

6. If the match is appropriate, the volunteer and the nonprofit will develop a work plan that will be signed off on by both the volunteer and the nonprofit. The original signed form will be returned to NPower Indiana.

7. The volunteer will work with the nonprofit for a maximum of 20 hours to complete the project in approximately 8 weeks, unless otherwise agreed-upon by both the nonprofit and the volunteer.

8. At the end of the project, the volunteer and nonprofit representative will be requested to fill out a survey about their experience with the project so that NPower can learn from any successes or problems encountered.
